In July 2019, I took the leap of faith and moved to the other side of the world. From New Zealand all the way to the United Kingdom. I've spent my first 6 months living in Glasgow, working as a street fundraiser for 1 month and then as a  receptionist in a hotel for the rest of my time there. I then moved down south to Luton, which is not far out of London. This move was mostly so I'd be closer to people that I knew since I really struggled in Glasgow to make friends. I was in Luton for a month before returning to NZ to ride out the Covid storm.

The things I have loved the most about living in the UK are the buildings, ease of travel to mainland Europe, the accents and actually just living here and making my childhood dream come a reality.
